Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 2026
Ascend communities exist to help people level up in real life. Everyone is welcome to stay anonymous — you never need to share your real name, face or location.
Do
- Share progress, setbacks and honest advice.
- Encourage people who are struggling.
- Respect people who choose to stay anonymous.
- Report content that breaks these rules instead of engaging with it.
Don't
- Harassment — insults, bullying, threats, hate speech, targeting someone's identity.
- Doxxing — posting anyone's private information, including your own address or phone number.
- Inappropriate content — sexual content, nudity, gore, violence, illegal drugs or weapons.
- Self-harm content — glorifying or instructing self-harm, suicide or eating disorders. If you need help, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line.
- Spam — repeated posts, link dumps, scams, crypto pitches, follow-for-follow, bots.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another user, a brand or Ascend staff.
How we enforce
Automatic filters block obvious spam and abusive language, and rate-limit rapid posting. Reported content is reviewed by a human. Depending on severity we remove content, hide the account from the community, or permanently suspend it. Serious or illegal content is removed immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
Tools you control
- Report — flag a post, comment or profile for review. Reports are private.
- Block — you never see them, they never see you or your posts.
- Mute — their posts disappear from your feed, but nothing else changes and they are not told.
You can manage blocked and muted people from the Community page sidebar.
Report something urgent
For anything involving immediate danger, minors or illegal content, email ascendgroupapphelp@gmail.com with the username and a description. We prioritise these reports.
